War System Explained

How Do Wars Work?
Wars are a mode between two kingdoms, where one kingdom is the attacker and the other is the defender. Other kingdoms cannot enter the territory of the defending kingdom.
A war can only be started when:
- The defending kingdom has at least three players online, including at least one duke or king.
- The attacking kingdom has at least three players online, including at least one duke or king.
Note: When participants in the war kill each other, "Keep Inventory" is disabled. This means that you will lose your inventory if you are killed by an attacker or defender during the war. You will also lose your loot if you log out during battles.
Types of Wars
There are six types of wars, divided into two categories:
- Regular War
- Map War
Regular War
In a regular war, the attacker does not need permission from the defender, introducing an element of surprise.
How Are the Number of Attackers and Defenders Determined?
- The number of attackers is equal to the number of players in the defending kingdom at the time the war begins.
- There is no maximum number of defenders; all members of the defending kingdom can participate.
- A defending kingdom can have more members come online during the war to help, without changing the number of attackers.
- Attackers can select their participants via a panel.
Types of Regular Wars
Default War:
- Damage to the defending kingdom’s land is automatically restored.
- Exceptions: Rare items/blocks such as Iron, Gold, Diamond blocks, and Beacons can be looted and will not be rolled back.
- Mobs like villagers will also NOT be rolled back.
Grief War:
- Damage to the defending kingdom’s land is automatically restored.
- However, this type introduces an extra way for attackers to harm the defending kingdom via loot and TNT points.
- Each attacking player receives approximately 15 and 5 points.
How the Points Work:
- 1 Loot Point = 1 item slot from a container (e.g., a chest). If a stack of diamonds is in one slot, it costs 1 point to take the entire stack.
- 1 TNT Point = 1 TNT that detonates automatically, causing environmental damage.
- Loot and damage caused will NOT be rolled back.
Phases of a Regular War
- Preparation (5 minutes): Attackers can approach the defending kingdom but cannot enter yet. Defenders can prepare.
- Siege (10 minutes): Attackers can enter the land and place blocks but only take items from chests.
- Attack (15 minutes): Attackers can now break through walls, leading to combat.
Shield and Cooldown
What is a Shield?
A shield protects your kingdom from attacks of a certain war type.
What is a Cooldown?
A cooldown prevents you from starting a specific type of war until the cooldown expires.
Where Can I Find My Shield/Cooldown?
This information is displayed at the bottom of your /k panel
in-game.
When Do You Receive a Shield or Cooldown?
You receive these after a war.
Duration of Shields and Cooldowns
Default War:
- Attacker Cooldown: 4 days
- Defender Shield: 5 days
Grief War:
- Attacker Cooldown: 20 days
- Defender Shield: 25 days
Rules During a War
- Griefing land outside a kingdom’s claims is against the rules (Map Grief).
- Starting an attack during your own shield period reduces your shield by 65%.
- Failing to show up as an attacker is strictly prohibited.
- Attackers cannot throw ender pearls onto the defender’s land.
Map War
A Map War takes place on a custom-designed map. There are four types:
- Castle: A castle is under attack.
- Pirate: Two ships battle each other using TNT cannons (TNT travels faster).
- Village: Battles take place in a village.
- Bridge War: Two kingdoms fight for control of a bridge.
Requesting a Map War
You can request a Map War with another kingdom. If they accept, both parties receive a panel where they can add players from their kingdom by clicking on them. After selecting players, both sides press "Confirm" to start the war.
Phases of a Map War
- Preparation (3 minutes): Both teams can store away unwanted items.
- Siege (15 minutes): Players are teleported to the war map, and the battle begins.
- Players can teleport to spawn at any time, but cannot return to the Map War.
- At the end of the war, surviving players are returned to spawn.
